Reflection #1
Death penalty leads to many patterns such as may be abused has the ability to influence, may take in a form, and can present something negative or positive. So far exploring my topic “Death Penalty” I have learned that more countries allow the death punishment than other countries who don’t. During my experience with researching, I did not change my generalizations or my topic because it is interesting and I can do a lot of research on it. Information I hope to find about my topic is if death penalty is abused . I also hope to find research on if death penalty is immoral. Death penalty has been around since the 18 century B.C. My collaboration so far has been good, and my research has gone well but time is passing so fast that it is just like yesterday we started symposium. Something else I hope to find is who started the law to execute criminals with bad records. One other thing I found new was that the process of death penalty may take years until the government can approve it and start the process.
Reflection #2
Last time I found research on my topic, Death Penalty I found out that the 8th amendment forbids some punishments entirely. My topic did not change but, my driving question did change because I was helped by my tutor to find more research about my topic and was able to get a better driving question. I am doing a survey as my option to found out more on my topic and the opinions of others. So far the researching part has been easy for me but I feel like design my board will be much more difficult and take more time. One thing I need to do to make my board plan a success is have a creative plan and take my time on designing it. My collaboration is good so far not the best but good. One thing that is working well is my information findings but my board plan not so well.
Driving Question
How does the 8th amendment of the U.S. constitution rely on the multiple perspectives of the courts, and how does this create conflict within cruel and unusual punishments in America?

Reflection #3
What I learned about my topic was how the issue of the death penalty can validate the 8th amendment. I learned about my self that im better of alone on my project because more things are able to be done. My trifold board background was the U.S flag because it connects to how the U.S government has the ability to establish it's rights, through the U.S constitution and it all relates to my topic and generalizations. I am planing on building a little sculpture about the death penalty, basically the bed where they are strapped down and executed. I need to successfully finish my I-S-D, need to work much harder and get it print out so I can begin gluing my generalizations, icons, survey results, and etc. My collaboration is working well because I have no partners.
Reflection #4
My driving question was how does the 8th amendment of the U.S. constitution rely on the multiple perspectives of the courts, and how does this create conflict within cruel and unusual punishments in America. Some revisions were editing my ISD making sure their was no spelling errors, missing information and I also revised my board. What I learned about my topic that i didn't know before was that some criminals with the worst crimes and are about to get executed can still avoid it just by being disabled. I learned that their are some good websites to look at and also some erelavent websites. What I learned about student led research was that it's either an interview, survey, experiment or observation. My collaboration was good but i think i could have done better working with a partner. If i could have done anything different it would probably be designing my board different. One piece of advice I'd give income symposium students it that no matter how hard it is just get it done.
